Gatwick Distribution Services ( “GDS”) was founded in 2006 as a vehicle to introduce high-quality workshop consumables to the UK automotive and industrial workshop market, you can see these products at www.lgwservices.co.uk
In 2007 we took on the "OSBE" brand of ski and snowboard helmets from Italy, marketed via the URL www.gatwickdistribution.co.uk, and the "Leisure Division" of the Company
Our Marine division took shape in 2008 with client requests to market AHTS, tugs & supply vessels and this area of operation has rapidly expanded into component re-marketing and handling and evaluation of consignment and surplus stocks for the marine industry.
In May 2009 we commenced co-operation with Taizhou Ginyuan Ship Building as their European agent and are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with them.
The Company owner ( James Phillips ) has over 30 years of Aviation, Automotive and Marine industry experience. The Company’s MISSION STATEMENT is to create a “well governed, financially sound, uniquely progressive organisation providing continuing potential for growth and development that distributes quality products with a committed and caring sales-focused management team proud to lead from the front”.
